Every play begins with a well written script and songs begin with an experience captured on paper. So- come explore the art of play writing and song writing. Make your own masterpiece or write a short act for a play, or write a song for all the world to read. Who knows, your work may become famous!

Do you enjoy traveling, or have a strong desire to visit far-away destinations? You have a chance to discover and explore exotic countries, cities, and secreted nooks throughout the world. Just like the TV shows, No Reservations and Globe Trekker, you too can learn about outdoor adventures, historical sites, different cultures, and traditions. Take Me Away…without the pricey cost of an airline ticket. Maybe you would like to create your own travel guide, focusing on outdoor expeditions, food, local people, and culture. Where would you like to go? It’s up to you!

They say film is a language, so what about seeing movies in another language? Shouldn’t they be just as interesting and just as good as anything coming out of Hollywood? This extension is for those of you who like to use images (moving and still), music, photographs and any other medium available to you in your approach to story telling. If you like the creative arts (music, visual, written), this is the class for you. We will use multi-media resources to design and develop story-boards, pod-casts, videos, comic strips or just about any other kind of self-expression you can imagine."

Join Ms. K’s Book Society and read some great books, then create a blog or review to share your point of view.
