CURRICULUM

The curriculum committee provides information to parents about Inman's curriculum and works with the Instructional Learning Specialist (ILS) to provide updates for the Inman Insight and to identify resources for teachers and parents to complement the offered curriculum. The areas that are covered by this sub-committee include:



Program for Exceptional Children (PEC)

• Serves as an advocate for students and parents participating in the PEC program. Also works with PEC teachers to provide enrichment activities to complement curriculum teaching content.

Reading Support and Enrichment

• Works with the Media Center Specialist and Instructional Learning Specialist to compile a list of reading books, magazines, newspapers, and other print media for students to meet the reading requirements of the Georgia Performance Standards (GPS) for each grade level.
